What material can I print with the STARTT printer?
PLA and wood filament.
My part doesn’t stick to the platform, what should i do?
First check if your bed is well calibrated, you can find out how to calibrate your bed on our ,iMakr Store youtube channel.
If the above method doesn’t work, try to use a glue stick or build sheet to improve the adhesion of the print.
Do I need a Windows PC to install the software?
No, we have developed software for the printer for both Windows and Mac.
Can I print with USB cable?
You can print with either USB cable or SD card. However, USB connection can be unstable from time to time so it is recommended to print with SD card.
Can I print multi-colour on the STARTT?
You can pause the print at stages and change different filament to achieve multi-colour printing.
Can I add a heated bed on the STARTT?
Yes, there are ports for a heated bed on the motherboard.
How long is the warranty for this product?
iMakr provides 3 months manufacturing parts warranty from the date we ship the machine.This means that if any part is faulty and results in being unable to print,we will replace the part at no extra cost.
What upgrade can be done on the STARTT?
STARTT is an open source printer so there’s no limitation in term of upgrade.Check out this impressive upgraded STARTT printer by our early adopter.
